We do
not want bootlegs on the site. Re-recordings are not a problem,
but apart from any other consideration these days it's getting more
and more difficult to distinguish between pressed bootlegs, CDR
bootlegs and CDRs which were originally not intended for sale at
all!
We decided
to omit any bootleg items in the first edition of our book "John
Barry: A Life In Music" and these will also be omitted from any
subsequent editions. We were thinking of listing them separately
but there was simply no point and we thought it may simply upset
Barry so we omitted them completely in the end.
