Ernie Ackerman

Right-hand opening batsman who was also a none too competent wicket-keeper. His wife, Dolly, made delicious teas and he worked for Douglas of Kingswood.

Malcolm French

Very versatile player who could keep wicket, open the bowling and bat in the middle order. He worked for Lucas on the Bath Road before emigrating to Africa for a number of years.  Played football for Sneyd Park on the Downs.

David Pearce

Middle-order right-handed batsman, who bowled occasional off-spinners. Worked at one time for Johnson & Johnson, the baby powder people. His wedding took place on Monkey Island, Bray.

Herbie Hopkins

Veteran all-rounder, who was already in his fifties when he joined: aggressive right-handed batsman in the middle order and right-arm spinner. Worked for Douglas of Kingswood.

Tony Ferris

Excellent all-rounder: right-handed opening batsman and right-arm medium-paced bowler. Worked for Douglas of Kingswood.

M. Perry

Right-arm opening bowler.
