Jon Burlingame has announced on Facebook that his book, THE MUSIC OF JAMES BOND, will be published in October 2012 by Oxford University Press.  This will be fifty years after Dr. No, the first movie in the series, premièred.

"I accepted the assignment in part because I wanted to pay homage to John and his legacy. I think you'll all be very pleased."

Jon Burlingame writes about music for films and TV for Variety and teaches film-music history at USC.
